A Benefit Show

Together these artists represent a visual history of the site, a chronicle of a community and style that it the backbone of Fecal Faces’ content. Displaying paintings, illustrations, photographs and mixed media works, “The Benefit Show” offers an affordable sampling of art by sought after artists both new and old to the site. All proceeds go towards upcoming Fecal Face projects.

The 5th Annual Mesa Community College International Film Festival will feature five films from Polish-born writer/director Krzysztof Zanussi. The director will also make an appearance after each showing. Zanussi, a one-time physics scholar, directed 76 films from 1958 through 2007 and is the winner of lifetime achievement awards from the Yerevan International Film Festival, the Florence Film Festival and the Chicago Film Festival.
The festival features five of Zanussi’s films shown on five consecutive nights.

All films are free and begin at 7 p.m. at Harkins Arizona Mills 24, 5000 Arizona Mills Circle, Tempe.

On February 1st (First Friday) at First Studio on 631 North First Ave & McKinley in Phoenix at 6pm six artists are having an art show (XXOH) to benefit Free Arts of Arizona. The show is conceived and curated by Andrew James Benson. The six artists are glen allen, casebeer, sentrock, jason rudolph pena, jenny ignaszewski, and josh rhodes. Spraygraphic’s Chuck b. has interviewed the artists on Sprayblog and will be sharing these Thought Provoking Interviews throughout the week leading up to the event.
